Naan is a much-loved breakfast and dinner food around India, and this stuffed naan offer a cheesy take on the bread with extra nutrition from spinach.

Spinach Cheese Naan Recipe
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredients |
1 cup | All purpose flour |
1 cup | Spinach Leaves |
1/4 cup | Cheddar Cheese, grated |
1/2 tsp | Baking Powder |
50 g | Paneer |
2 tbsp | Yogurt |
1/2 tsp | Sugar |
1 tsp | Butter |
As required | Water |
1 tbsp | Oil |
1/2 tsp | Salt |
Method
- Prepare the dough by mixing baking powder, all-purpose flour, salt and sugar and knead while gradually adding water till it forms into a dough. Add oil and yoghurt along with water and mix well. Cover with cloth.
- Blanch the spinach leaves for 2-3 minutes and chop them finely. Crush the cottage cheese into bits and pieces.
- Add the grated cheddar cheese and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Your stuffing is now ready to be filled inside the dough.
- Make medium-sized sections in the dough, flatten it and add the spinach mixture. Close the chunks using your fingers and shape them into naan using a rolling pin.
- Cook them in a pan and flip both sides until brown patches appear. Brush them with butter and serve hot with chutney, pickle, or any sabji you choose.
