1/2 tsp | Cumin Seeds |
1 tsp chopped | Green chilli |
2 tsp chopped | Ginger |
1/2 Cup chopped | Beans |
1/2 cup chopped | Carrots |
1/2 cup chopped | Cauliflower |
1 tsp | Chilli Powder |
1 tbsp | Coriander Powder |
1/2 tsp | Turmeric Powder |
Pinch | Salt |
1 1/2 cup Boiled and mashed | Potato |
1/2 tsp | Garam Masala |
1/2 tsp | Kasoori Methi Powder |
1 tsp | Chaat Masala |
3/4 Cup + 1 cup for coating | Bread Crumbs |

1 pinch | Salt |

Method
- The first step to prepare veg cutlets is to heat a pan and pour in oil. Add asafoetida, cumin seeds, green chilli, and ginger. Cook on high heat for a minute.
- Add the vegetables like beans, carrots, cauliflower and cook on high heat for about 5 minutes. Add chilli powder, coriander, turmeric and salt. Cook for another minute.
- Remove the vegetables from heat place it on a platter and let them cool completely. Once cooled, mix in mashed potatoes, garam masala, chaat masala and bread crumbs and prepare a dough out of it.
- Mix them and divide them into small balls. Cut the Britannia The Laughing Cow Cheese Cubes in the centre and shape the potato mixture around it. Lightly flatten it to shape it into a shape of tikki or a cutlet.
- To prepare the batter, mix together maida, salt and water to make a thick slurry. Heat oil in a deep pan and spread out the some bread crumbs separately onto a plate.
- Drop the cutlet in the slurry, let the excess flow off, dip in the breadcrumbs and then deep fry them in medium hot oil to get a crispy outside. Remove and serve hot with tomato ketchup or any other sauce of your choice.
