3 cups Idli dosa batter
1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
1 cupCarrots, grated

Method:

  • Step 1: In a mixing bowl, start by mixing cheese and grated carrots. Keep this aside. Preheat the idli steamed with water and grease the idli plates with ghee.
  • Step 2: Fill in half idli batter in the moulds and add a spoonful of carrot cheese mixture and top it with another round of idli batter to make a sandwich idli.
  • Step 3: Steam the idlis in the idli steamer for about 10 minutes and remove from the moulds. Allow the steamed idlis to rest for a few minutes and cut them into quarters.
  • Step 4: Serve the carrot and cheese loaded idli with sambhar, tomato chutney or any other condiment of your choice. Serve and enjoy!
