Ingredients:

For the Paneer Filling:

200 gPaneer, cubed
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 tspCumin seeds
1Onion, finely chopped
1Tomato, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 tspCoriander powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala
to tasteSalt
1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
For the Wrap:

2Whole wheat tortillas
1/4 cupLettuce, shredded
1/4 cup Cucumber, chopped
1/4 cupRed bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cupLow-fat yoghurt

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Sauté the onions until translucent. Add tomatoes and cook until softened.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Stir well and cook for a minute.
  • Add the cubed paneer and cook until golden brown. Season with salt and add chopped cilantro.
  • Spread yoghurt or chutney on a warmed tortilla. Layer with lettuce, cucumber, red bell pepper, and the prepared paneer filling.
  • Fold the bottom edge of the tortilla over the filling, then fold it in the sides. Roll the tortilla tightly to enclose the filling. Serve immediately.
