1/2 cupMozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Fermented kimchi, chopped
1 tbspUnsalted Butter

Method

  • Start by heating up a large skillet and place the slices of bread side by side leaving some space for kimchi on one side. Allow the bread to cook for about 3-4 minutes and in the meantime add a tsp of butter and kimchi to the empty spot.
  • Stir the kimchi into the butter evenly. Turn the slice of the bread over and add the cheese to the hot toasted side of it. Add fried kimchi over the cheese and secure it with another slice of toasted bread.
  • Once the cheese is packed with hot and fried kimchi, cook the bread sandwich for about 2-3 minutes or until golden and crisp. Keep pressing it down with the help of a spatula and melt the rest of the butter next to the sandwich in the skillet.
  • Move the sandwich around with the spatula for about a minute and remove from the heat. Once you notice the melted cheese oozing out from the sandwich, serve right away and enjoy!
