Paneer Pakoda

Paneer pakodas are a perfect evening snack which can be relished with spicy chutneys. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve with chai or coffee for a fulfilling meal like no other.

Ingredients

10Cheese slices
1/2 tsp Chaat masala
1/4 tspRed chilli powder
1/2 tspGaram masala
2 tbspRice flour
1/2 cupBesan
1 tspAjwain
1 tspGinger-green chilli paste

Method

  • Start by cutting the paneer into pieces. Sprinkle red chilli powder, chaat masala and garam masala. Mix everything nicely and allow it to rest.
  • In a kadai, heat oil and add besan, ajwain, rice flour, red chilli powder and ginger chilli paste to a bowl. Pour water and make a flowing batter.
  • Take two slices of paneer and tip in a cheese slice between them. Dip the paneer in the flowy batter and keep flipping and stirring continuously.
  • Cook it until golden and drain the excess oil. Serve paneer pakoda with chutney, serve and enjoy.
